The main attraction of the area is Gino Paradise Bešeňová Thermal park all-year-round. Gino Paradise was built on the basis of hot springs of thermal waters rising from depth of 1987 metres with the temperature of 60,5 degrees.

Orava castle is situated 40 km from the village of Bešeňová, on the way from Ružomberok to Dolný Kubín and Oravský Podzámok. It belongs to the most considerable sights of castle constructing on the area of Slovakia. There are being exhibited expositions of Orava Museum of P. O. Hviezdoslav - historic, ethnographic and scientific ones.
For all visitors it is recommended to see the caves in Demänovská Valley - Demänovská cave of Liberty and Demänovská Ice Cave. Demänovská Valley is situated 25 km from the village of Bešeňová nearby the town of Liptovský Mikuláš.
Not far from the village of Bešeňová (only1,5 km to the east) there is placed the archeological open-air museum called Liptovská Mara-Havránok on the small hill of Úložisko at dam of Liptovská Mara. It was the settlement from the Iron Age (300-100 BC).
To the north-west from the village of Bešeňová there are lying Choč mountains. Veľký Choč (1611 m) is the dominant mountain. There is a spectacular round view of its surrounding. Climbing up the hill, depending on the track, lasts cca 3 hours. The top is covered by dwarf-pine, it has slowly rising shape from the village of Valaská Dubová, while it is falling down in a steep cliff from the village of Lúčky.
Kvačianska valley together with Prosiecka valley make a couple of beautiful and very frequently visited valleys in the massif of Choč mountains. Slopes of the valley are, except the reefs and rocky walls, covered with forests, which were not agriculturally used for its unavailability.
We recommend to go for a trip to Nízke Tatry (Low Tatras) for their ideal possibilities of summer and winter hiking and sport facilities. Magnificient scenery is seen during the climbing up to the Mount Chopok which is one of the highest mountains of the Low Tatras.
Ski resort Skipark Ružomberok is 12 km far from the village of Bešeňová. It lies on the hillsides of Giant Fatra above the town of Ružomberok at the altitude from 545 to 1209 metres above sea level. It is about 2 km far from the centre of the town. Hrabovo is „the gate“ to the resort, with the cableway to Malinô Brdo.
Jasná resort in Low Tatras belongs to the highest category of tourist centres of an international importance. It is the best of all Slovak resorts. The resort is only 25 km far from the village of Bešeňová. It is situated in beautiful mountainous surroundings in the northern and southern slopes of the Mt. Chopok in the Low Tatras National Park.
During summer season water dam of Liptovská Mara belongs to important holiday resorts, only 4 km far from the guest-house. There are offered many facililites like swimming, surfing, yachting, windsurfing classes, boating, water cycling, minigolf, fishing, sailing on the boat with a view of Liptov surrounding (80 seats).
Fun and relax
Western City Šikluv Mlýn is the area of fun, rest and relaxation. It is situated only 15 km from Bešeňová, next to Tatralandia Aquapark by Liptovský Mikuláš. The identical copy of a small wild western American town from the end of 19th century welcomes you by a unique programme show in the style of wild west with many performances and stunt men actions.
Aquapark Tatralandia nearby Liptovský Mikuláš, distant 15 km from Liptovský Michal, belongs to very attractive and often visited swimming pools in the Liptov region.Thermal pools, vital world, many roller coasters and water slides are visited by every family with children.
